Gardens no longer brownfield and 30 dwellings per hectare no longer a minimum indictative density !

Announced by Greg Clark MP, Minister for Decentralisation, in a statement on 9th June 2010, PPS3 has been re-issued with two crucial amendments - private residential gardens are not defined as brownfield any more in Annex B and national indicative minimum of 30 dwellings per hectare is deleted from para 47.

"Together these changes emphasise that it is for local authorities and communities to take the decisions that are best for them, and decide for themselves the best locations and types of development in their areas."
